Position Details:

• Specialty: Neurologist
• Shift Type: Weekend Call (Friday 5 pm to Monday 7 am; 1 weekend a month, 1:4)
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On Call Requirements: Yes
• Certification Requirements: Board Certified (no new grads), MO and IL license (covering at Alton Memorial & Christian Hospital), Covid vaccination, BLS, General neuro experience (highly preferred), Local candidates (highly preferred)
• License Requirements: Illinois, Missouri

Job Description:

• Shift: Friday 5 pm to Monday 7 am
• Practice setting:
  Call only for consultations and follow-up needs, no rounding or clinic.
• Call schedule provided monthly
• Percentage of Practice: 100% adult, 40% OP, 60% IP, 40% Sleep
• Average number of Hospital-based patients per locum: 7-10
• Other Neurologists will be present during locums assignment:
  Yes
• Physicians in group: 3
• Lab and x-ray onsite:
  Yes
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Required procedures: EMG, Brain Death Exam, Radiologic Exam Interpretation, EEG, Botulinum Toxin Administration (Botox), Sleep Studies, Peripheral nerve blocks
