Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Barrington, IL. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive interior design plans, including space planning, selecting furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and preparing construction drawings. Working closely with clients and the design team, the role also involves ensuring that design elements align with the client's vision and the overall architectural framework to deliver harmonious and luxurious living spaces.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to craft functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces
  • Knowledge of Architecture and ability to collaborate with architects to align designs with structural plans
  • Experience in developing and reviewing Construction Drawings to accurately represent design concepts
  • Expertise in selecting appropriate FF&E that aligns with client preferences and project goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with clients, contractors, and the design team
  • Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar software) is a plus
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field is preferred
  • Experience in luxury residential design is highly desirable
