PEG Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a family-owned, rapidly growing civil and transportation construction company to hire an experienced Project Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company known for its strong culture, long-term stability, and commitment to developing its people.

What You'll Do

• Lead heavy civil and transportation construction projects from pre-construction through close-out
• Manage project budgets, schedules, documentation, and financials
• Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, clients, superintendents, and subcontractors
• Oversee change orders, billing, pay estimates, and cost tracking
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and quality expectations
• Support and mentor field teams while driving continuous improvement
• Utilize project management tools and technology to track progress and performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in heavy civil or transportation
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and financial management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with HCSS or project management software preferred
• Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and solve problems proactively
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
