Overview
Kinder Camp Counselor 2026: Kindergarten Camp Counselors support a summer camp program for children entering Kindergarten by providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment each day. Counselors work as pairs to oversee a camp group of 14 campers. Counselors also work closely with the Camp Supervisor and fellow staff to lead activities, supervise children, and ensure positive camp experiences.
Responsibilities- Actively supervise children and assist with daily routines.
- Lead and participate in themed activities, group games, art projects, outdoor play, and water activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized camp space, follow safety procedures, and support children’s social and emotional development.
- Accompany children on weekly trips to Spray N’ Play and assist with on-site field trips.
- Assist with camp setup and clean-up; be able to lift and carry 30–40 pounds when required.
- Collaborate with the Camp Supervisor and fellow staff to provide a positive camp experience.
- Open to all qualified applicants 16 years of age (as of June 1, 2026) and up.
- Early childhood work experience or education is preferred.
Kinder Camp is from 8:30am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday. The camp runs from June 8 to July 31, 2026. Kinder Camp training is mandatory and will begin on June 1, 2026. No absences are granted for this 8-week program.
SalaryStarts at $15/hr, depending on experience.
