• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards and Toyota time guides.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment – complete multi‑point inspection.
• Performs advanced maintenance and repairs on vehicles, diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues including engine & transmission repairs.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to Toyota specifications with accurate notes and pictures, keeping in mind – “fix it right the first time.”
• Take manufacturer training to excel in diagnosis and repair of gas, hybrid and electric vehicles.

• Experience as an automotive technician with ASE certification or mechanic with 5 years experience and some ASE certification.
• Must be able to diagnose and repair within automotive time‑table guidelines.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalentcycles.
• Problem‑solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and a customer‑service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license – clean driving record.
• Ability to learn new technology, repairs and service procedures and specifications.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
