Description

The Program & Events Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing programs and activities that strengthen employee engagement and cultivate a positive workplace culture. This role serves as the primary administrator for the company’s recognition program, H2

Onors, and manages a variety of employee experience events including volunteer initiatives, holiday celebrations, and cultural or engagement activities. The Administrator ensures programs operate smoothly, are well-communicated, and deliver meaningful value to employees across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary owner of Culligan’s recognition program, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate administration
  • Manage nomination cycles, review processes, communications, and program updates
  • Maintain program data, track participation and impact metrics, and prepare periodic reporting
  • Partner with HR leadership to enhance recognition strategies and improve program engagement
  • Manage & coordinate a calendar of employee engagement activities (e.g., appreciation days, wellness activities, H2

    Onors events) supporting the Rosemont and Libertyville offices and liaise with field locations as needed
  • Develop event materials such as agendas, décor plans, communications, and post‑event summaries
  • Develop creative concepts that enhance connection, morale, and organizational culture
  • Manage logistics including scheduling, materials, catering, communications, evaluation, and day‑of coordination
  • Regularly assess employee feedback to evolve programs and improve participation
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute volunteer events that support company values and community partnerships
  • Collaborate with nonprofit partners, internal sponsors, and employee groups to develop meaningful volunteer experiences
  • Track participation and impact for internal reporting and storytelling
  • Lead the planning and delivery of corporate holiday parties and other large‑scale celebrations
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and onsite logistics
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders such as Facilities, Communications, and HR Leadership to ensure successful execution
  • Maintain detailed records, timelines, and procedural documentation for all programs and events
  • Manage event and program budgets, invoices, and vendor payments
  • Support internal communications—drafting emails, intranet posts, graphics, and promotional materials
  • Ensure all activities align with brand, culture, and HR policies
  • Provide onsite support for key programs and events (may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or travel)
  • Creative thinker who brings energy, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing employee experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–4+ years of experience in program administration, event coordination, employee engagement, or related areas.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with HRIS, recognition platforms, or event tools is a plus.

Target Salary Range: $50, year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full‑time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including: paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).
