Document Control Administrator II
Position Type: Contract (1 year +)
Position Location: Roxana, IL
Position Pay: $20/HR - $23.50/HR (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities- This position is focused on maintaining the master Documentation Control system.
- The individual will be responsible for processing and maintaining documentation with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- The position is responsible for issuing construction documents that originate both internally and externally such as outside engineering companies.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team.
- This role requires flexibility, strong initiative, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understand, follow, and apply document control procedures.
- Process construction document packages.
- Verify documentation against our document control system (FALCON).
- Checkout, issue, and track documentation updates for projects and special programs.
- Support the document revision process to ensure proper procedures are followed for drawings and documentation updates.
- Track action items for documents and drawings distributed to project teams.
- Assist project teams with electronic document filing, organization, and retrieval.
- Ensure document distributions follow established matrices.
- Maintain master documents, library documents, and associated hardcopy and digital files.
- Serve as a liaison with external engineering firms when required.
- Utilize key software applications and internal resources effectively.
- Coordinate Foreign Printing (FP) and scanning of project drawings to ensure accurate and timely support for major capital projects.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent a minimum:
Higher education is a plus. - 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
- Experience with various proprietary Electronic Document Control and computing systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Primarily Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Familiarity with basic office procedures such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and printing.
