, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring vendors are paid accurately, on time, and with care. The hourly pay range for this role is $21.63 - $24.04.
Initial offers are typically made at $21.63 per hour, with placement within the range based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, location, training, and education. This process ensures a fair and competitive salary that aligns with both the company and the candidate’s qualifications.
This is a hybrid role and requires 1 to 2 days in office in Naperville, Illinois.
What you’ll do:- Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and on time, ensuring all financial commitments are properly documented
- Code and enter invoices, retrieve and organize electronic statements, and prepare weekly check runs and wire requests
- Maintain complete and up-to-date vendor records, including securing and updating W-9 and banking information
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Reconcile monthly credit card activity and manage employee expense report reimbursements
- Support 1099 preparation and mailing
- Assist the accounting team with special projects as needed, contributing to smooth and efficient financial operations
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a high level of ownership over accuracy and record organization
- Comfort working across multiple systems and handling confidential information with care and discretion
- Clear, professional communication skills when working with vendors and colleagues at all levels
- Enjoyment of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where books, ideas, and innovation matter
