The Manager, Technical Accounting will play a pivotal role in the Accounting department by providing technical accounting expertise and support in the preparation and review of audited financial statements, audit memos, and other critical accounting entries. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, including working on various auditing and financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all reporting and accounting activities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong technical accounting knowledge, and is adept at managing complex financial data and processes.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions, ensuring U.S. GAAP
- Provide expertise on complex accounting issues (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718)
- Partner with Segment Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams on accounting matters
- Manage quarterly technical accounting memo tracking with segment and corporate functions
- Work closely with external auditors on significant transactions
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and impairment assessments
- Coordinate valuation work with third-party valuation firms
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and update global accounting policies
- Assist in goodwill impairment assessments and other transactional accounting matters
- Manages entity structure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly.
