Retail Team Leader / Duty Manager – Fixed Term

Join us at Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate in Ilkley to lead and manage our retail team on a fixed‑term basis. As a Retail Team Leader / Duty Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, coaching and motivating a team, and maintaining the highest brand, food hygiene and health & safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a full‑time role of 37.5 hours per week across 5 days. Working hours will vary within opening times (8.5 hours per day, no split shifts) and will include at least one weekend day each week. If you have specific working‑pattern requests, please discuss them in your application.

You have a background in customer service, hospitality or retail, and experience managing and motivating teams. You possess strong communication skills, work well with others, and share a commitment to quality customer service. You are enthusiastic about learning about our products and confident sharing that knowledge with customers. You also have basic knowledge of food safety and health & safety procedures.
