Press Brake Operator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and growing sheet metal and bespoke laser cutting business for an experienced Press Brake Operative with strong knowledge of Bystronic machinery.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, forward‑thinking manufacturer operating a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern, offering excellent work‑life balance and consistent hours.

• Setting and operating Bystronic press brake machines
• Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings
• Programming, setting, and adjusting machine parameters
• Producing high‑quality folded components to tight tolerances
• Working with a range of sheet metal materials and thicknesses
• Conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Proven experience operating Bystronic press brakes
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic

• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (06:00-18:00 days)
