DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring the efficient and safe running of all Production equipment at our Eurocell Recycling site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This role offers oversight of maintenance planning, supports a skilled technical team, and implements strategies that reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

• Manage a team of Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure that all maintenance activities meet safety and quality standards
• Follow and report all escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements
• Support and train Operators to develop within their role
• Engage and manage contractor activity on site
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes for extrusion equipment, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on extrusion lines and related equipment
• Assign tasks, set priorities and monitor work quality to meet production and maintenance goals

• Time served apprenticeship in an engineering subject (HNC or equivalent desirable)
• ILM Level 3 in supervisory management or equivalent experience
• WCM/Lean trained or willing to be trained
• Practical knowledge of key H+S legislation (e.g., HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER, IEEE regulations)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to diagnose faults on a wide range of engineering equipment (including but not limited to electrical fixed wiring systems, PLC and drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
