Mechanical & M&E Projects (£50k £8m) An established and growing engineering business in Ilkeston is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of mechanical projects across the UK. This role sits within a specialist controls and M&E division delivering projects ranging from £50k to £8m, with a typical project value of £12m.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with around 2 years experience who is looking to take more ownership of packages within a supportive commercial team.

The Role As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of elements across multiple projects. Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with cost management and budget control Subcontractor procurement and package management Valuations and variations Supporting CVR processes Cost reporting
