Nursery Practitioner

We are a family run Nursery, established 20 years and highly respected within the education community. Our nurseries offers a wealth of opportunities for learning in a warm and welcoming environment in which children are nurtured and motivated to learn. We have the vision to provide a personable experience for early years children. We create a family environment where your children are able to learn to understand emotions, interact with one another while providing them with the nurture necessary to develop both emotionally and academically.

• Level 3 (prefered)
• Commit to 30 - 40 hours
• Flexible shift patterns (between 7:30am - 6:00pm)
• 4 days on a shift rota basis

• Looking after children’s day-to-day physical needs, such as feeding, nappy changing, toilet learning and administering first aid
• Providing a range of fun and stimulating activities, from reading stories to messy play
• Developing close attachments and fostering trust in the children in your care
• Safeguarding children and reporting any concerns
• Monitoring children’s progress, keeping records and reporting back to parents
