Job Summary
We are looking for a suitably-experienced and motivated person to join our team. You will be based at reception, at the Ilkeston Resource Centre.
As a receptionist/ team administrative support, you will support services based within this site and other DHCFT teams using the building. This will include support to manage the day to day running of the building. You will be part of the Erewash Adult Community Mental Team.
Support and supervision will be provided for the successful candidate, as well as ongoing training.
The post is for 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00.
Main Duties of the Job- Excellent communication skills, a polite telephone manner, knowledge and experience of using IT programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Systm One.
- Using Electronic Patient Records, complete typing and updating patient information.
- Lead on room bookings within the building.
- Support other administrators within the adult Community team.
- Deliver a high-quality front-of-house reception/admin support service, greeting clients and handling a wide range of telephone callers and staff.
- Liaise with various services using the building and book rooms.
- Multi-tasking in a busy office environment; prioritise conflicting workload demands.
- Work with the general public in person and on the telephone in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Essential
- Non-judgemental/positive attitude towards service users and carers
- Ability to accurately input data
- Experience of using Microsoft computer packages
- Experience of dealing with telephone enquiries
Desirable
- Previous Clerical/Administration experience
- Previous 'front of house' experience
- Previous clinical team experience

- Good standard of spelling and grammatical accuracy
- Ability to type to RSA I standard (or demonstrable experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and work to the required standards within defined time limits
- Experienced at using EXCEL and spreadsheets

- OCR/RSA I Type-writing or Word Processing or equivalent Typing qualification or demonstrable experience (typing test)
- GCSE English Grade C or equivalent (evidence required)
Desirable
- ECDL / CLAIT / IT Qualification / or demonstrable experience
- Customer Care training

- RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent qualification or recent equivalent level of demonstrable experience (typing test if not)
- English Language - GCSE Grade C or equivalent qualification
