Core hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Lead and develop a skilled team of Specialist Exploitation Team (SET) practitioners, ensuring they are empowered, supported, and delivering outstanding interventions.

Shape and promote the SET service across the council and with key stakeholders, positioning it as a leading model for tackling exploitation.

Implement and embed the Family Help Model, ensuring young people and families receive tailored, holistic support.

Monitor emerging risks and trends in exploitation across Redbridge, ensuring we stay one step ahead in protecting young people.

Oversee complex case management, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work, supporting young people at the edge of care.

Collaborate with specialist agencies, police, education, and health services to develop robust, preventative strategies for safeguarding.

Promote and embed the team’s TEDDS approach – Trust, Engage, Deter, Divert and achieve success.
