Job Title: Central Support Chef

• Monday to Friday
• 45 hours per week
• 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days and 3 additional weeks)

£38,000 per year plus mileage claimed back.

• Assist with the training and development of onsite chefs.
• Cover sickness across our sites.
• Support the mobilisation team.
• Provide chef management experience (ideally from secondary education).
• Support the operations manager across a portfolio of sites.
• Render assistance in the kitchen when required, demonstrating craft skills.
• Be self‑motivated, resilient, and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own vehicle.
• Experience in chef management, preferably within secondary education.

An interview and kitchen visit will be required for this role. Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which IFG will pay for.
