We are currently seeking to fill the position of Development and Database Officer at City of London School for Girls.
Detail Purpose of PostThe Database and Development Officer will play a vital role in supporting the school's fundraising and alumnae engagement by ensuring high-quality data management, accurate gift processing and excellent administrative support. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Raisers Edge/NXT database, recording philanthropic income, and enabling the Development team to work with insight and integrity. This is a role for someone who enjoys systems, finds satisfaction in detail, and believes in the power of data to tell stories and drive change.
You’ll be part of an ambitious and fast‑paced external relations team, working closely with colleagues in fundraising, alumnae relations, communications, marketing and admissions. Individual giving, primarily from parents and alumnae, has increased tremendously at City over the past five years and we were seeking a new team member who’s passionate about how data drives change, helping a motivated team exceed ambitious targets as we aim squarely towards needs‑blind admission.
Your skills will help us level up year‑on‑year, opening City’s doors to more talented students who would otherwise be unable to study at our academic, egalitarian, unstuffy and exhilarating school.
This is a full‑time, one‑year fixed‑term contract. It is a Grade C role, with a starting salary of £38,080.
The City of London Corporation is currently undergoing a programme to ensure that our pay and reward practices are competitive and equitable across the whole organisation to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the work that we do.
