Position: Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager (Hybrid)

Overview

Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager (Hybrid) needed in Ilford, £27.08ph PAYE – Reference: OR24807

To lead on the delivery of innovative and effective Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy and programme of work for the client. This includes associated Learning & Development, Staff Engagement & project management, lead the delivery of the ED&I agenda for the Client and the management of cultural change in support of the strategic and operational plans, ensuring the provision of appropriate solutions, information, and advice is provided to services as required.

To provide expertise to the HR and client leaders in the development of an inclusive culture, performance management, leadership, colleague engagement & development and in bringing organisational change and development expertise. Working as part of the HR Team and OD specifically, the role is at the heart of the ambitious organisational EDI programme that champions the development of colleagues and shaping the organisational people management frameworks.

Build relationships with stakeholders across the Clientand with HR & OD colleagues.

Working with leaders across the client on a wide culture change programme with an EDI lense. Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to deliver EDI programmes to meet the needs of the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of the Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy and programme of work for the client, including Learning & Development, Staff Engagement and project management.
  • Lead the delivery of the ED&I agenda for the client and manage cultural change in support of strategic and operational plans, providing solutions, information, and advice to services as required.
  • Provide expertise to HR and client leaders in developing an inclusive culture, performance management, leadership, colleague engagement and development; contribute to organisation-wide change and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR & OD colleagues and build relationships with stakeholders across the client.
  • Work with leaders across the client on a culture change programme with an EDI focus; partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver EDI programmes aligned to organisational needs.
Qualifications and characteristics
  • Experience in leading ED&I strategy and programmes, with a track record of driving cultural change.
  • Strong partnership with HR, OD and senior leadership to embed inclusive practices.
