Full-time, Monday - Friday (08::.5 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join a well-established Community Rehabilitation Team within the Intensive Rehab & Therapy Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an agile, multidisciplinary environment supporting patients through rehabilitation, discharge planning, and community reintegration.

The role will involve working across Grays Court Community Hospital and Goodmayes Hospital, with flexible/agile working in place.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake independent assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning for patients within the community rehab team

Provide specialist clinical input for complex rehabilitation cases

Complete equipment reasoning, ordering, and provision

Use recognised outcome measures to evaluate patient progress

Attend and contribute to family meetings and MDT discussions

Support safe and timely hospital discharge and community transitions

Requirements

Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration

Post-qualification experience within the NHS

Strong experience in community and/or rehabilitation settings

Confident working autonomously at Band 7 level

Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential due to community visits)

Working Pattern

Monday - Friday: 08::30

Full-time preferred (37.5 hours per week)

Part-time considered (minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours) depending on experience
