An outstanding, high-achieving 11-18 secondary school in Redbridge, East London is seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Deputy Head of English to join its exceptional English faculty from September.

The Role

* Support the Head of English in leading a large, high-performing department

* Drive curriculum development and teaching & learning strategies

* Monitor progress, standards and intervention across KS3-KS5

* Model outstanding classroom practice

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds QTS and has a strong track record of impact in English

* Has experience teaching across KS3-KS5

* Demonstrates leadership potential or current middle leadership experience

* Is ambitious, organised and committed to academic excellence
