This Community school located in the borough of Redbridge, are looking to recruit an Computer Science Teacher to join their team ASAP. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic.

Computer Science TEACHER:

The department prides itself on delivering a Computing curriculum which provides opportunities for learners of all abilities to access Computer Science in a fun and engaging way. As a flexible practitioner, you will teach across a wide ability range while maintaining high expectations for all learners.

Knowledge of Computer Science and programming is essential, as well as a desire to help every child fulfil their potential.

The department is dynamic, supportive and successful with a long history of excellent results at KS4 & 5, where we currently teach GCSE Computer Science, Level 1/Level 2 BTEC in Digital Information Technology, A level Computer Science and Level 3 AAQ BTEC National ICT. We also have an exciting programme of study at KS3, with an emphasis on how computers work, data handling, HTML and programming in particular.

To be considered for this Science Teacher role you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in Computer Science
Experience teaching Computer Science KS3, KS4 and KS5
The desire to join a very successful department and school
