Location: Rocket Padel Ilford
Hours: Midnight – 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift)
Duration: Temporary position for Ramadan 2026 (Expected dates: February – April 2025)

Rocket Padel is on an exciting journey to create the most fun, open, and social exercise community for everyone. Since 2018, we’ve expanded rapidly across Scandinavia with over 100 courts, and we’ve now launched in the UK. In 2023, we opened our first venue in Bristol and are now gearing up to launch London’s largest indoor Padel venue.

Your Mission at Rocket Padel

We are seeking an Overnight Duty Manager to oversee the smooth operation of Rocket Padel Ilford during our extended hours for Ramadan 2026. This temporary position will be key to ensuring that our venue operates safely and efficiently during late-night hours (midnight to 7am) as we expand our opening times for the Ramadan season.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the venue overnight, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining the facilities, and handling any operational needs that arise during the late-night shift.

As part of our exciting growth, we’re also opening further sites in 2026 as well as our existing sites. This temporary role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and could lead to a permanent position at the new location. As a member of our team, you’ll play a key part in our mission to create a fun, accessible, and social fitness community while gaining insights into how we operate across multiple venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth running of the venue during overnight hours, including managing staff, maintaining high customer service standards, and keeping the facilities operational.
  • Security & Safety: Act as the point of contact for all security and safety concerns, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide a top-notch customer experience, handling any complaints or issues quickly and professionally, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
  • Team Supervision: Lead a small team of staff, including baristas, security, and cleaning staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and equipped to do their jobs effectively.
  • Maintenance & Cleanliness: Oversee basic venue maintenance and ensure the facility is clean, tidy, and fully operational.
  • Cash Handling & Reporting: Manage cash transactions and complete shift-end reports for the management team.
  • Problem Solving: Address any incidents or issues that arise, from customer complaints to emergency situations.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with the Club Manager and other team members, reporting any operational issues or successes during the night shift.
What You Need to Embark
  • Is social and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Has experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, entertainment, or sports, and can lead a team effectively.
  • Has a passion for sports, especially racket sports, fitness, and well-being.
  • Is reliable and able to work well under pressure, especially during late-night hours.
  • Has excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Is comfortable using social media and other platforms to enhance the customer experience.
  • Has experience in customer service, with a knack for resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Can adapt to different tasks, such as handling admin, running the café, supporting the shop, or meeting and greeting customers.

  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (pro rata anddepending on experience)

    (local proximity preferred)
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is a plus (1 year preferred)
