Overview

This well-established, entrepreneurial Accountancy firm has experienced significant growth and is planning further expansion in 2020, positioning itself as commercially focused and technologically advanced. The firm has been at the forefront of cloud-based accountancy technology and has partnered with Xero from the early stages, serving a client base that includes national and international businesses.

As part of an ambitious expansion program, the firm is seeking to recruit a new team of driven, career-focused Semi Seniors/ Assistant Client Managers to work closely with diverse client portfolios. In this role you will be much more than an accountant, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and getting involved in commercial and financial aspects at a granular level.

You will gain experience beyond traditional accounting, including business management and operations, working cohesively with clients to help them achieve short- and long-term business aims.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and engage in commercial and financial aspects at a granular level.
  • Work closely with diverse client portfolios as part of an expanding team.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth and client service through hands-on involvement in business management and operations.
Qualifications

You will likely be currently employed at a traditional accountancy practice with sound knowledge and experience in:

  • General bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts.
  • Experience with Sage Line 50, Iris, and ideally cloud-based systems such as Xero.
