Boyds J and C Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a wide range of commercial trucks.

Key Responsibilities- Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor‑trailers, dump trucks, side dumps, flatbeds, belly dumps, and equipment trailers.
- Perform accurate pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Transport equipment and materials to designated project sites efficiently and safely.
- Properly load and unload equipment and product using correct techniques and safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, field crews, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all company safety regulations.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance as needed and report vehicle issues promptly.
- CDL Class A license with no restrictions (Required).
- Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record; no serious moving violations within the past 36 months.
- Must be insurable and able to pass pre‑employment and random drug testing.
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and other government regulations related to safe working conditions.
- Ability to operate vehicles and shift properly.
- Mechanical aptitude for minor preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat and cold).
