Turner Staffing Group is seeking two to four
Light Vehicle Mechanics to support a high-priority maintenance project for one of our
mining industry clients in the
Clayton, Idaho area. These are
on-site, project-based(3-6 month)
roles with a rotating schedule and competitive pay, ideal for mechanics ready to step into immediate, impactful work.
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will support site operations by maintaining and repairing light-duty vehicles and mobile equipment used in an active mining environment. Safety, reliability, and rapid turnaround are critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, service, and repair, and maintain light-duty vehicles and site fleet equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Support site operations by responding to urgent maintenance needs
- Proven experience as a
Light Vehicle Mechanic (mining or industrial experience preferred) - Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work a7/7 rotating schedule
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Experience working in mining or heavy industrial environments
- ASE certifications or equivalent trade credentials
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment
