HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician candidate will already have some experience, be self-motivated, have flexible hours, and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systems
• Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
• Install electrical wiring and controls and test for proper operation
• Inspect and maintain customers’ HVACR systems, test individual components to determine necessary repairs, and repair or replace worn or defective parts
• Determine HVACR systems’ energy use and make recommendations to improve efficiency
• Service and repair all resort refrigeration units (kitchen walk-in/reach-in, ice machines, ice cream machines, etc.)
• Service and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their components (boilers, pump valves, blowers, air compressors, pneumatic controls, etc.)
• Service and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, broilers, mixers, steamers, steam tables, automatic door openers, wet belts, etc

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC or relative experience
• HVAC training is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
• Can safely lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
