Cashiers provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service by processing Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitoring and maintaining the Self-Checkout area, and proactively seeking product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink. A Head Cashier positions Cashiers, expedites price checks, approves Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental, provides first-level escalation for customer issues, and assists in the supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates.
QualificationsThe preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
