Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and safety-focused Snowpark/Terrain Park Attendant to join our Mountain Operations team. The ideal candidate has experience skiing or snowboarding, is knowledgeable about terrain park features, and excels at providing a positive guest experience. This role is vital for maintaining the safety, appearance, and fun of our terrain parks for all guests.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Maintenance:
    Perform regular upkeep of all terrain park features using hand tools such as shovels and rakes.
  • Safety Monitoring:
    Visually monitor terrain park features and guest activity throughout the day, enforcing park rules and safe practices.
  • Guest Interaction:
    Act as a host in the park, providing a positive guest experience through friendly interactions, safety education, and information sharing.
  • Feature Setup:
    Assist in the construction, setup, and teardown of terrain park features, including rails, jumps, and boxes.
  • Signage and Closures:
    Install and maintain all park signage, fencing, banners, and ropes to ensure clear communication of park rules and feature layouts.
  • Documentation:
    Accurately complete daily inspection logs and other required paperwork to track feature conditions and maintenance.
  • Event Support:
    Assist with the setup and teardown of special events, competitions, and contests held within the park.
  • Teamwork and Communication:
    Collaborate effectively with park grooming staff, Ski Patrol, and other resort departments.
Qualifications
  • Skill Level: Intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder with the ability to test and assess park features.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience working in a terrain park is preferred but not required.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Physical Demands:
    Ability to work outdoors in various and often inclement weather conditions for extended periods, perform physical labor like shoveling, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Possess critical thinking skills and the ability to react quickly and appropriately to situations.
  • Work Schedule:

    Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
