An opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional perioperative care in a hospital setting. This role requires critical thinking, leadership, and coordination skills to ensure smooth and safe surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care compliant with regulatory and institutional standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling surgical cases, managing supplies, maintaining timely case flow, communicating effectively with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and circulating during surgeries, and supervising personnel involved in patient care.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current Idaho RN or multi-state RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with general surgery required; skills in DaVinci robotic procedures, orthopedic and robotic knee replacements, trauma, and neurosurgery preferred.
• Strong knowledge of State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in the OR environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• On-call one day per week and one weekend per month.
