Position OverviewAs a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct, hands-on care to patients in the comfort of their homes during end-of-life care. In this deeply meaningful role, you will support patients with dignity and empathy while also offering comfort, education, and emotional support to their families and loved ones.
You will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team to address both physical and emotional needs, helping ensure patients experience comfort, respect, and peace while families feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout the end-of-life journey.
This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who can work independently while also functioning as a trusted member of a collaborative care team, with strong communication skills and a heartfelt commitment to hospice and end-of-life care.
What You Can Expect- Provide in-home hospice care to patients within McCall and surrounding areas (Adams County, Idaho County, Valley County)
- Support patients and families with dignity, compassion, and empathy during end-of-life care
- Schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and evening call
- Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
- Pay differential may apply based on location
- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
