Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ambulatory dermatology surgery assignment requiring EPIC experience and a compact or Idaho RN license.
Responsibilities

• Position is in an ambulatory (outpatient) dermatology surgery setting in an acute care environment

• Day shift position with 8-hour shifts

• Work as part of a provider team, supporting minor procedures such as biopsies and excisions

• Each provider is supported by a team of 3-4 clinical staff

• EPIC is the charting system used

• Assignment length is 13 weeks

• No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests accepted

• Duties include rooming patients, assisting providers with minor dermatologic procedures, and handling in-basket work

• Collaborative team environment with a supportive clinic culture

• First-time travelers considered

• Permanent employees must be separated from the assignment for at least one year before applying as a traveler

• Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified
Requirements

• Active Idaho or compact RN license required at the time of application

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required

• Current BLS certification required

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

• Must provide 2 professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Valid driver's license required

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
