Custodian Full‑Time

Location: Bayview, Idaho

Type: Non‑Exempt

Work Schedule: Full‑time, Day Shift, Mon‑Fri, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Compensation: $17.75 – $17.75/hour, an additional $4.93/hour cash payout offered with qualifying health insurance.

• Work and promote a safe, healthy work environment; report safety findings to supervisors.
• Restroom cleaning—sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures; restock supplies; collect trash; sweep & mop floor; follow cross‑contamination procedures.
• Office cleaning—sweep, mop, vacuum per schedule.
• Hall and high‑traffic area cleaning—sweep, mop, vacuum per schedule.
• Entrances & exits cleaning—sweep, mop, vacuum, clean entry doors per schedule.
• Trash—empty office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, showers, lockers per schedule.
• Supply restocking per schedule.
• Dusting in restrooms and shower/locker areas per schedule.
• Stairwell cleaning—sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails per schedule.
• Shower cleaning—clean stalls, wipe dust, restock supplies, mop floors; follow cross‑contamination procedures.
• Janitorial supply closet/locker—keep clean & organized.
• Mopping wet/dry—wet/dry mop each floor per schedule.
• Sweeping—sweep each area per schedule.
• Communicate with customers courteously and professionally.
• Driving—safe driver; back vehicles using ground guides; check surroundings before backing.
• Work with janitorial personnel and any route due to callouts & mission tempo changes.
• Maintain a positive team environment when working alone or with others.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 0–3 years of custodian or janitorial experience preferred.
• Combination of experience and education considered.

• Lift or move up to 45 lb.
• Reach, kneel, walk, stand; use repetitive motion for several hours.
• Possibly repeat motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking, standing or sitting; climb in/out of vehicle; up/down stairs.
• Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain & maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
• REAL ‑compliant driver’s license or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ) for federal installation access.
• Obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access; background check & E‑Verify conducted.
