Quality Coordinator, RN

Overview

Facilitates data abstraction and clinical quality review for various disease processes and regulatory standards. Daily use/navigation of the electronic medical record and data collection tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Active participation in regulatory surveys.

The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in nursing with appropriate certification and licensure preferred.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Must have current North Carolina license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Proficient in software applications and ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, etc.
• Working knowledge of clinical practice patterns
• Ability to facilitate teams
• Ability to analyze data
• Knowledge and skills in statistical and nonstatistical tools
