We are seeking a Full-time Day and a Full-time Night RN, Obstetric Services candidates to join us here in the beautiful, serene landscapes of rural Idaho at Steele Memorial Medical Center (SMMC). SMMC is nestled in the beautiful rural town of Salmon, is a small, yet vibrant healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The RN for our Obstetrics Unit provides compassionate and skilled care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. This role involves monitoring and the health of both mother and baby, assisting in the birthing process, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.
In the event that the Obstetrics unit does not have active patients, the RN will be assigned a patient load in the Med/Surg unit, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care. This role requires adaptability in patient assignments, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care across multiple units.

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Idaho or approved compact state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required upon hire
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire or within one year of employment
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in obstetric nursing required
Pay: $33.69 - $50.97 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
