Job Summary
The Certified Nurses Aide, under the direction of the Registered Nurse or appropriate designee, assists the medical and nursing staff by providing direct and indirect patient care and performing related duties and procedures as assigned.
Essential Job Functions- Assists the patient with ADLs (activities of daily living) such as personal hygiene and grooming care, feeding, ambulation, turning, and lifting.
- Obtains, reports, and records patient data.
- Assists with swing bed activities.
- Performs clerical duties as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous duties and tasks as appropriate to training and skill, assigned by RN including assisting with workload in other areas when directed.
- Idaho approved CNA Certificate or enrolled in an Idaho approved nursing assistant training program.
- Maintains current BLS Certification
