Business Advisory Analyst

Our client within the Financial Services sector is seeking to appoint a detail-orientated and highly motivated Business Advisory Analyst to join their team in the Business Advisory Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the accuracy and timelines of financial reporting and reconciliations, while contributing to the effectiveness of the broader finance team, acting as the key link between the Accounting and Advisory teams.

This role is ideal for someone who is systems-driven, comfortable working independently, and confident working with financial data, reporting tools, and occasional client interaction. Position will be based in Kimberley.

• Relevant BCom degree Accounting / Management Accounting
• Completed Articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA)
• Experience using Xero and Excel (advanced level); working knowledge of Fathom, Syft, or Power BI
• Relevant commercial accounting experience in a similar environment
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, can manage recurring deadlines and multiple clients independently
• Able to interpret data, identify trends, and provide decision-useful insights
• Strong understanding of tools, integrations, and workflow design
• Reconciliations: strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger functions
• High level of administrative accuracy and organizational ability
