Location: Lapwai
A school district in Lapwai, seeking six skilled Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026‑2027 school year to provide essential in‑person services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity arises as the current SLP retires, leaving a significant caseload of 50‑60 students in need of attentive care. Available positions span elementary, middle, and high school levels, allowing for placement that fits your expertise and preferences.
KeyQualifications And Experience
- Valid SLP certification and licensure for school settings
- Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels, from K‑12
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively, aiming around 50‑60 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Commitment to delivering tailored, evidence‑based speech therapy interventions
Location:
Lapwai, Idaho
- Provide direct speech‑language therapy services to students in‑person during the academic year
- Assess, diagnose, and design individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations
- Adapt therapy plans to meet changing student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Elementary: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Middle School: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
- High School: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
