Your part in our Uniting Care team

This role will provide services to vulnerable children, young people and families within the Family Intervention Service (FIS) with an emphasis on high‑quality, best bolup, service delivery.

This Position Provides
  • A holistic and therapeutic response to the needs of families and individuals involved in the child protection system.
  • Intervention to support the reunification of children and/or young people with their biological families after time in out‑of‑home placements or through parental agreement cases, aiming to minimize child‑protection worries so they remain safe in the family home.
  • A home‑based intervention, including case‑management and therapeutic intervention skills.
What makes a difference for us?
  • A tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor degree) in a relevant human services field with relevant experience; registration with a nationally recognised professional body is desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through experience working with children and families.
  • QLD Suitability Card for Child‑Related Employment (Blue Card).
  • Ability to achieve results through personal proficiency and demonstrate high‑quality technical or professional work.
  • Experience in child protection is preferred but not essential.
  • Current driver’s licence.
