At Mustang Transportation, we’re seeking dependable, caring individuals to join our team as Substitute School Bus Drivers.

This role is perfect for retirees, parents, veterans, or anyone looking for rewarding work with flexible, as‑needed scheduling.

• Flexible, on-call schedule — work when you’re available
• Perfect for retirees seeking supplemental income
• Ideal for parents who want hours that align with school schedules
• Great fit for veterans with driving, safety, or service backgrounds
• No regular or guaranteed schedule — pick up shifts as needed
• Typical shifts are early mornings and afternoons, totaling about 4‑5 hours per day when scheduled

• Safely transport students to and from school following assigned routes
• Maintain a safe, calm, and positive environment on the bus
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and dispatch
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
• Represent Mustang Transportation with professionalism and care

Charter bus driving opportunities may also be available on an as‑needed basis.

• Strong commitment to safety and reliability
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Clean driving record (no major violations)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Class A or B CDL is required
  • Training is available for qualified candidates willing to obtain a CDL
