Job Overview
The Employment Training Specialist is part‑time (29 hours per week) and plays an essential role in advocating for and training people with disabilities.
Working Hours & Compensation- Monday–Sunday; hours will be determined based on client needs and may require work beyond the regular workday, with a 24‑hour notice.
- Hours not to exceed 29 per week.
- Pay starts at $13.50 per hour.
- Paid time off.
Assist clients who have secured community employment to maintain and develop their vocational skills to levels needed to achieve their vocational goal. This is accomplished through providing direct job coaching, support, and advocacy.
Qualifications & Requirements- High school diploma or equivalency; preferred two years of experience in a related field such as Vocational Rehabilitation, special education, teaching, or counseling.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a Health and Welfare criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain an E‑Verify/Form I‑9 authorization confirmation.
