Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a skilled and certified Pipe Welder to join our growing team in Idaho Falls, position focuses on high-quality welding of high-pressure piping systems in accordance with industry codes, project specifications, and company standards.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least two years of certified pipe welding experience who takes pride in producing clean welds, maintaining safe work practices, and delivering consistent, high-quality craftsmanship on plumbing and mechanical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality pipe welding using TIG, MIG, and Stick methods on carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
- Weld high-pressure piping systems in compliance with ASME, AWS, and applicable mechanical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Complete visual inspections of welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with plumbers, pipe fitters, foremen, and project managers to meet production goals
- Maintain welding certifications and participate in ongoing safety and skills training
- Produce welds that meet quality standards with minimal rework
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified pipe welder
- Proficiency with TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes
- Current welding certifications (ASME or AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of pipe fitting, layout, and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-focused mindset with knowledge of construction safety standards
