Seasonal Customer Experience Specialist – Tesla –
Location: Idaho Falls,

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 (annual).

Seniority level: Entry level |

This is a temporary seasonal position in our showroom where you will be the first and last point of contact for potential and new Tesla owners. You will guide each customer through the entire Tesla experience, ensuring that buying and receiving a new vehicle is as innovative and welcoming as the product itself.

What to Expect

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will serve as the face of Tesla in our showroom. Your role is to deliver engaging, educational, and memorable experiences that embody Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do
  • Engage walk‑in guests promptly and warmly, creating an immediate connection.
  • Conduct meaningful conversations to understand customers’ history, buying intent, and timeline, building a personalized customer profile.
  • Inspire and educate guests by answering questions and curating tailored product experiences, including demo drives and Full Self‑Driving demonstrations.
  • Lead engaging delivery orientations, highlighting key features and benefits to ensure new owners feel confident and excited.
  • Support sales pipeline health by capturing guest information, scheduling test drives, and identifying high‑intent buyers.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to present and future owners.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
What You'll Bring
  • 1+ year of customer service and/or sales experience with a proven record of meeting or surpassing goals.
  • Passion for the Tesla mission and knowledge of EV industry trends and local incentives.
  • Ability to understand and explain business issues and technical concepts.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and high organization. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • For employees in CA, CO, HI, , MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: must hold a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the state’s DMV.
  • For employees in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: a notary license is preferred;
    Tesla will assist with obtaining one if required.
