Position: Local Contract Travel Operating Room RN - $68-70 per hour
Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Job Description & Requirements

• Number of Beds – 13 ORs

• Number of Staff – 25 RNs / 29 CSTs

• Patient Ratios – average 50 hours of surgical time (patient in room) Monday – Friday. Weekends vary with Saturday heavier than Sunday.

• EMR - Meditech

• Typical Procedures:
- Burn: high acuity patients mostly from ICU: wound debridement, skin grafting, dressing change
- Dental: restoration (cavities) and oral maxillofacial
- ENT: T&A through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants
- Gastroenterology: EGD, colonoscopy
- General - everything
- Gynecology – ablations, vaginal/abdominal hysters
- Neuro – stealth, spinal fusions, discectomy, craniotomy
- Open Heart – CABG, fempop, fistulas
- Ophthalmology – vitrectomy, cataracts, corneal transplant
- Orthopedics – trauma, total joints, sports med
- Plastics – breast augmentation/reconstruction
- Pychiatry – electroconvulsive therapy
- Robotics – gyn, general, urology
- Trauma – damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, general
- Urology – cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, stents

Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 3+ years of OR RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- Trauma Experience
- Shift and Call Flexibility

- CNOR Certification
