Job Overview

Provide services and support as an Office Manager in the Federal Energy & Nuclear Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOEID) and DOE Idaho Operations Office. The position is generally located in Idaho and across the United States – Mountain West Region. Work is performed on-site at the U.S. Department of Energy – Idaho Operations Office (DOE‑) Office of Nuclear Energy, 1955 Fremont Avenue, Idaho Falls, .

The role is a full‑time, exempt W2 position with no overtime pay.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversee staff, facilities, and workflows to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Manage daily operations, including project coordination, procurement, vendor management, and budget monitoring.
  • Coordinate and maintain office facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and federal regulations.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to enable efficient, compliant, mission‑focused organizational performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years office management experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience.
  • Associate’s Degree + 3 years of progressively responsible experience, or Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year of progressively responsible experience.
  • Experience in the Federal Energy & Nuclear Sector is preferred.
Skills Required
  • Strong leadership, planning, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of office management principles, practices, and procedures including budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with data analytic tools and Visio.
  • Commitment to work with diverse teams to solve significant challenges across public and private sectors.
