Job Description

Pro Sidian seeks a Legal Support Specialist I [Professional Administrative & Management Support Services (PAMSS)] on a full‑time, exempt W‑2 basis to provide program support for DOE Idaho Operations Office, Idaho, and the Mountain West Region.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Legal Support Specialist I focused on management and operations solutions for the Department of Energy (DOE) and related Federal Energy & Nuclear Sector clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide entry‑level legal support and administrative services to the Office of Chief Counsel (OCC).
  • Maintain legal files and records, prepare basic legal correspondence, and assist with meeting logistics.
  • Perform quality checks on project content and oversee legal documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Support senior counsel, mentor junior staff, and coordinate complex legal matters.

Work site: U.S. Department of Energy – Idaho Operations Office, 1955 Fremont Avenue, Idaho Falls, .

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for candidates:

  • 6+ years senior legal support experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED + 1 year relevant experience (some college coursework in legal studies desirable). Bachelor’s degree required; advanced training preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook); knowledge of legal office procedures and compliance review.
  • Ability to work on‑site at DOE‑ Mountain West Region.
Skills and Competencies
  • Leadership, risk awareness, problem solving.
  • Knowledge of acquisition and grant management, business program and project management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
