CC WEST - ADMISSIONS CLERK at Mountain View Hospital
Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Admissions Clerk to join our team! Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatient testing or procedures. Ensure that patients’ information is collected, entered accurately, and all patients are aware of Urgent Care policies and procedures. Interview incoming patients or representatives and enter required admission information into the computer. Distribute appropriate information to all ancillary departments.
Maintain a 95% accuracy rate quarterly on all admissions.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or higher. Current BLS Certification.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to use hospital information system and operate basic computer functions and software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers and/or employees.
- Mathematical skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate ratios and percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Mental capabilities – apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
