As a Pulmonary Rehab Technician, you will observe telemetry monitors, while watching for changes in heart rhythms, record data, and alert Respiratory Therapist of changes. You will function in a team environment, providing quality care to our patients as a primary focus.
Responsibilities- You will continuously observe heart rhythm, blood pressure and SpO2 monitors to note changes.
- You will notify charge person of changes.
- You will post rhythm strips on each patient in phase II chart.
- You will instruct patient on equipment use.
- You will provide patient education on disease processes and restorative measures for lifestyle changes.
- You will perform 6-minute walk tests.
- You will perform patient evaluation for program eligibility and assessment.
- You will plan and implement individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient
- Patient evaluation can be conducted either inpatient or outpatient as needed
- Oxygen Titrations
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
