Job Overview
Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC). Hourly wage estimate: $32.62 - $48.93 per hour. This role provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care, managing the complete therapeutic process for assigned patients in coordination with physicians and the care team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in development of the total plan of care.
- Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patient’s home, using procedures to produce a change consistent with the physician’s plan of care.
- Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices outside of therapy sessions.
- Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
