Part‑Time Female Specimen Collector – Idaho Falls,

Schedule:

Monday and Thursday, 8:00 am–11:00 am (6 hours/week).

We are seeking
** female candidates only
** for observed specimen collections of gender‑identified female patients. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community.

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Drive to multiple facilities as required.

• 6+ months experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in the medical field supporting patients (preferred).
• 2+ years customer service experience can replace medical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer (required).
• Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation.
• Medical insurance/billing familiarity or medication/diagnostic code knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality, and compliance policies and procedures are always adhered to.
• Ability to adhere to administrative, physical, and technical cyber‑security controls.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical requirements:
  
  sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Salary Range: $18‑21 /hr (dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location).
